Terrific Tuesdays

When

Join us for events throughout June and July. Our Terrific Tuesday events are listed below. Programs typically last between 45 - 60 minutes, though some may run longer. Programs are geared toward elementary school-aged children, but all are welcome. Children younger than 8 must attend with an adult.

June 11 - Rockin' Round the Universe: Kick off summer with a musical, interactive trip through the solar system with musician Randy Peterson.

June 18 - Space Stations: The Discovery Center from Rockford will land at the library and present their stations about space.

June 25 - Our Solar System: Our solar system is amazing! We'll tour the Milky Way with John Heasley of Driftless Stargazing.

July 2 - Create A Satellite: Discover the Chandra XL and Hubble Space Telescope and create your own satellite.

July 16 - Micro-Universes: Discover the microscopic universe using digital microscopes with the Welty Environmental Center.

July 23 - Rockin' The Planets: Watch Brodhead stars Callie and Kylie perform and teach us a dance that's out of this world!

July 30 - 3...2...1...Blast Off!: Learn about rockets, create your own, and watch it soar!
