Titles will be popular fiction and nonfiction. Engage in great discussion while being able to enjoy appetizers, dinner, or the beverage of your choice!

November's meeting will take place at Fib's North, 906 W. Exchange St., Brodhead.

Our first book selection, "Shotgun Lovesongs" by Wisconsin author, Nickolas Butler, tells the story of Henry, Lee, Kip, and Ronny, who grew ups in rural Wisconsin, but who have all taken very different paths in life. Henry stayed home and married his first love, whilst the others left in search of something more. Ronnie became a rodeo star, Kip made his fortune in the city, and musician Lee found fame - but heartbreak too. The four reunite for a wedding, but amid happiness and celebration, old rivalries resurface and a wife's secret threatens to tear both a marriage and a friendship apart. "Shotgun Lovesongs" is about the things that matter - love and loyalty, the power of music, and the beauty of nature - told in a uniquely beautiful, warm-hearted and profound way.

Copies of the book may be check out at the library. Large print and audio versions are available.
