From Feet on the Ground to Eyes in the Skies: Adventure Astronomy for All

When

This multimedia slide show talk will highlight some of the constellations and stars of the summer night sky for your own backyard adventures.  Find out more about how the mission and limitations of the Hubble Space Telescope helped shape the next generation of orbiting observatory: the James Webb Space Telescope.  As we have moved from 'feet on the ground" to "eyes in the skies," we have learned more about our Universe.  Participants will receive a July star map and simple instructions for further astronomy adventures.
